Lumiere Global was founded on a single conviction: that the surface beneath your feet or the wall before your eyes should be as considered as the architecture it inhabits. Since 1987, we have pursued that conviction through relentless refinement of material, process, and design.

1987
Founded in Lyon, France with a single production kiln.
2001
Expanded to a 40,000 m² production facility in Modena, Italy.

Launched our first large-format 120×240 cm slab collection.

Opened our first flagship showroom in Paris, followed by Dubai.

Achieved ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
